Family Physician Opportunities

Full Time or Part Time

We are seeking candidates for the position of family physician.  Candidates will be able to develop a practice that includes their area(s) of professional interest.

Candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).  Successful applicants will be eligible for a provisional or regular license to practice in Saskatchewan. They must be eligible for or have CMPA insurance coverage.

Herold Road Family Physicians has been providing primary care to residents of Saskatoon and surrounding area since the 1960’s we see family practice clients for booked appointments, as well as after-hours urgent care visits for clients who cannot see their family physician in a timely fashion.  Our afterhours clinic is open 7 days a week, 364 days a year, Monday to Friday 5pm to 7:30pm, Saturdays & STAT Holidays 9am to 1130am and Sundays 1pm to 3:30pm.  Closed on Christmas Day.

Herold Road Family Physicians maintains a reputation as a destination for patients, staff, and physicians.  Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art furnishings, up to date medical equipment, and well-maintained IT services, including Accuro EMR with home access for all physicians.  Our experienced Business and Staff Managers lead a large and well-trained support staff which allows our physicians to work efficiently and on-time, to maximize the quality and quantity of patient care, as well as physician earning potential.

Our large physician group also provides coverage for our clients while we are away for vacation, CME, or during illness.  This allows our physicians greater freedom to plan their time away from the clinic much more freely.  Our clinic is equipped for physicians to provide additional services including Insurance Medicals, Aviation and RCMP medicals, Sports Medicine, “No-Scalpel” Vasectomies, IUD insertions and more.
