Jenn was born and raised in Saskatoon. She is a mom to two young children, boy and girl twins. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology through the University of Saskatchewan in 2004, followed by a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina in 2006. After practicing in various medical and mental health settings, she went back to school and completed her Masters of Social Work though Dalhousie University in 2015. Since then, she has been working in mental health settings, both directly providing client care as well as supervising multi-disciplinary teams within the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Jenn has been trained in many therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Strengths Based & Solution Focused Interventions. She is qualified to support clients with many different mental health challenges, and has a particular interest in issues related to trauma in childhood. Jenn is Phase I Certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics through the Child Trauma Academy based out of Houston, Texas.
In her spare time, Jenn spends time with her family and friends, and often can be seen running around to kids’ extracurricular activities. When the opportunity presents, Jenn enjoys reading books and drinking coffee, or indulging in reality TV.
