Covid-19 has challenged all of us. In an effort to keep our doctors, staff and patients safe, office procedures have changed. This includes phone check-in and rooming to keep our waiting rooms relatively empty to allow for physical distancing. This has unfortunately created a burden on our reception staff and existing phone system. We appreciate your patience.
We commit to providing our patients with the annual influenza vaccine as we have done for many years. (While supplies last). We however have to ensure that the vaccinations are provided in a way that ensures patient safety and does not overwhelm our clinic.
For this reason, we cannot accept walk-ins for flu shots. Instead, we will be running flu shot clinics staffed by volunteer Doctors from our clinic. To get your flu shot at one of our FLU shot clinics, we please ask that you make an appointment.
When you show up for the Flu shot:
ensure that you are not sick and do not have any symptoms consistent with Covid (cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat, headache, short of breath, difficulty breathing, rash (see our signage)
you don’t have to call in (just line up at the posted signage around the north side of the building)
please follow the physical distancing signage as the line leads to our side door where the flu shot will be administered.
show up at your allotted appointment time to avoid overcrowding
wear a mask
please wait in your car for 10 minutes after your vaccination to self-monitor. If any reactions occur then please walk into the main part of the building and speak with reception.
Please note we will still offer flu shots to any patient when they see a doctor for an unrelated issue in our main clinic (regular appointment or walk in appointment).
